1. What is the Ezcover IRN?

A

The Ezcover IRN is an Independent Repair Network of the best independent stores across the nation. You keep all of your independence and autonomy but gain the ability to receive repairs from our national protection plan program and to sell protection plans for a new income stream if you desire.

A

Repair Service Provider! You! Some of you have physical stores, others depots and some are on the go doing repairs in a mobile fashion. We’ll try and say “RSP” always to not exclude any of your forms of helping people receive high-quality repairs.

3. Who is Ezcover? What do we stand for? Where did we come from?

A

Clarence Bethea founded Upsie in 2015 after paying hundreds of dollars for a laptop protection plan that he couldn’t even use. Luckily he could afford to replace his totaled laptop, but what about the people who couldn’t?

Upsie strives to make our protection plans accessible to everyone via lower prices, longer purchase periods, and completely transparent terms. Perhaps most importantly, we’re constantly improving our 24-7 claims process so our customers never have a bad experience like Clarence did.

We stand in our customers shoes daily to ensure that every change we make positively benefits them. Some might say we’re customer obsessed, which is true! We’re so excited about the Upsie IRN because we know it will benefit our customers as much as it will benefit you.

4. What does Ezcoverng know about repairs and our businesses?

A

Being on the protection plan side of the business since 2015, we’ve sent thousands of items out for repairs. We’ve heard great things from customers and sadly bad things and we felt their pain as we wanted a better plan experience from start to finish. In the spring of 2022, we hired Rob Link, founder of the Tech Care Association and former repair store owner himself, so he could help Upsie learn more about how stores operate and how we could partner together.

There is no upfront cost or monthly fee to join the Ezcoverng IRN or to receive repair orders. There is also no cost to sell protection plans. Nothing to lose by your business, everything to gain!

About Our Programs

Repairs

Ezcover receives thousands of repair requests from our customer base, our partners, and the general population each month. We’ll verify them, collect payment, and send them to you at a pre-negotiated repair rate.

Protection Plans

Add an additional revenue stream by selling protection plans on the electronics you repair or sell. Get paid for every plan sold to your customers after a repair or when selling a new device. Our unique tracking system makes sure you make money in store, after they leave, or even months later.

What Comes Next

Vetting Process

To make sure we only include high-quality repair companies in our network, we have a two-step vetting process. The first step is handled internally by looking at your operation from a few different angles. If you pass the first step we’ll send you a link to complete the second step of vetting. This will include a short form (10 questions) for us to find out more about your business (i.e., years in business, training/certifications, etc.) We will also ask you for three industry references to verify you and your business.

Getting Approval

The vetting process shouldn’t take long (3-5 business days) for most repair businesses, especially those that have a great reputation. Once you are approved to be a part of the program we have a short and simple onboarding process we’ll ask you to complete. And, if you are not initially approved, we’ll offer suggestions to meet our criteria.

IRN Onboarding

In order to deliver business to you efficiently, we will need to collect some details about your business and go over a few things with you. We also want to make sure you get paid quickly. Onboarding will take less than 30 minutes of your time in total.
